Geodesy

The field of geodesy encompasses all techniques intended to determine both the planimetric and altimetric positions of a given number of points or markers.
Each of these markers will be identified by coordinates known with precision in the underlying geodetic system (whether a local system, RGF, Lambert or NGF, etc.).The goal of a geodetic system is to provide all potential users with stable and recognizable points (markers, sealed cover plates, studs, etc.) whose spatial coordinates have been well documented.
We will be using the following topographical instruments, depending on the client's desired accuracy threshold: total stations, worksite levels or an automatic barcode level, GPS.
